Also, the program aims to select entrepreneurs who want to run and or buy an existing business in the rural communities of Alberta.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Besides, this program will help grow the rural communities. These businesses\u00a0will be creating multiple job positions and will be generating revenue for the rural areas of Alberta.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/>Exploratory Visit<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If you wish to apply to the Rural Entrepreneur Stream, then you must first conduct an exploratory visit to the community of your choice. However, any rural community\u00a0and or the AAIP will not give a letter of support for getting a valid Canada visa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">As a result, AAIP advises applicants to conduct a thorough market, registration, licensing research before visiting the community. Besides, the applicant before applying must share a Rural Entrepreneur Stream Business Proposal Summary with the community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Further, the community will assess the proposal. And if found\u00a0profitable will issue a community support letter. In addition, the community will also endorse the applicant\u2019s business proposal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">So, after getting the community support letter and endorsed business proposal summary, the applicant can <strong>submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile to AAIP<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Who can apply to the AAIP Rural Entrepreneur Stream?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To apply to this stream,\u00a0you must meet the terms such as:<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; color: #000000;\"><strong>Work Experience<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Either have a minimum of 3 years of work experience as a business owner or manager or a minimum of 4 years of work experience in a senior manager post within the past 10 years.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Education Level<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">As an applicant, you must have a minimum of Canadian high school education. For education from outside Canada, submit an <strong>Educational Credential Assessment (ECA)<\/strong> report to AAIP. An ECA report proves that the foreign educational level is at par with that of Canada\u2019s education system.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Language Skill Level<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To apply to the AAIP Rural Entrepreneur Stream,\u00a0you must have a minimum language skill level. Because the AAIP will select applicants who have job-ready language skill levels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To prove the same, one can submit language test results for English\/French. Also, the applicant must have a language skill level of CLB 4 for English or NCLC 4 for French.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><br class=\"none\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Besides the AAIP takes the following language test results:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>English<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">International English Language Testing System (IELTS)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/>French<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Test d\u2019\u00e9valuation de fran\u00e7ais (TEF) Canada<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Test de connaissance du fran\u00e7ais (TCF) Canada<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Moreover, your language test results can not be more than 2 years old at the time of application submission.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Net Worth<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To apply to the AIPP Rural Entrepreneur Stream, have a minimum net worth of $300,000. Also,\u00a0you must be personally holding these funds or can show funds of\u00a0your spouse or common-law partner.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Business Investment<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Must have a minimum personal business investment of $200,000 or can show funds of spouse or common-law partner. Also, the higher the investment, the higher the points an applicant will get against its application.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Business Establishment<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">New Business \u2013 must have a minimum of 50% of business ownership. Also, the business partners must be Canadian citizens and or permanent residents.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Or<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">For business succession,\u00a0one\u00a0must have 100% ownership. And the take over process must have been fully completed. With the applicant taking full ownership of the newly bought business.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">However, the applicant\u2019s business must not be on the AAIP in-eligible businesses list.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Creating Jobs<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">As a new business, the establishment is to create a minimum of 1 full-time job for Canadian citizens or permanent residents. But the business owner can not offer the job position to their family members.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The more jobs a business will create the higher the points it will get. Further, this job offer must be for a minimum of 6 months.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">But in case of business take over, the\u00a0criteria of\u00a0job creation is not required.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Community support letter<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To apply\u00a0to the AAIP Rural Entrepreneur stream must have a community support letter. However, the test results must not be more than 2 years old.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td style=\"width: 256.1px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Relatives in Alberta<\/span><\/td>\n<td style=\"width: 256.1px;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Relative refers to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Father<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Step-father<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Mother<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Step-mother<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Child<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Step-child<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Sister<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Step-sister<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Brother<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Step-brother<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The above relations can be of the main applicant or its spouse or common-law partner.<\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">How to apply to the AAIP Rural Entrepreneur stream?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To apply to this stream, after meeting the eligibility terms submit an Express of Interest (EOI) through the AAIP portal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">AAIP will then process your profile as per the information you give such as business proposal, net worth, community support letter etc. After the EOI profile will get points as per the <strong>AAIP <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20230206070311\/https:\/\/gvimmigration.com\/rural-entrepreneur-stream-points-grid\/\">Rural Entrepreneur Stream Points Grid<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Steps to apply to the AAIP Rural Entrepreneur stream?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Step 1<\/strong> \u2013 Check your eligibility.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><br class=\"none\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Step 2<\/strong> \u2013 Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) visa AAIP online portal<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">AAIP will then place your EOI profile in a pool and will award points within 30 days of submission. Your profile will be in the EOI pool for 12 months. And if not selected it will be cancelled. However, one can always submit a new EOI profile.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Besides, applicants with the highest EOI score will get an invitation to submit their business proposals to AAIP.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><br class=\"none\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Step 3<\/strong> \u2013 Submit a Business Proposal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">After getting an invitation to submit a business proposal from AAIP. The applicant will have 90 days to do the same.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><br class=\"none\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Step 4<\/strong> \u2013 Business Application assessment<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">After receiving the business application and all the supporting documents AAIP will assess your profile. If your application gets approval, then you will get a Business Performance Agreement (BPA).<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Further, you need to apply for a <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20230206070311\/https:\/\/gvimmigration.com\/canada-work-permit\/\"><strong>Canada Work Permit<\/strong><\/a><\/span> after getting your Community Support Letter and the Business Application Approval Letter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Finally, after getting a work permit you can move to Alberta to set up and run your business.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><br class=\"none\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Step 5<\/strong> \u2013 Set up a business in Alberta<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">After moving to your community, you need to set up your business. And prove that you meet all the terms of the Business Performance Agreement (BPA). Also, your business is generating profit within 1 year of operations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">After meeting all the terms, you\u00a0need to give the final report for nomination.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><br class=\"none\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Step 6<\/strong> \u2013 Final Nomination Report<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">After meeting all the terms of the BPA, you can apply for nomination to AAIP for permanent residency in Canada.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><br class=\"none\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If the final report for nomination gets approval, then AAIP will:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Inform IRCC of your nomination.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Send a nomination letter to you. And share guidelines for <span style=\"color: #800000;\"><a style=\"color: #800000;\" href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20230206070311\/https:\/\/gvimmigration.com\/immigration-options-permanent-residency-in-canada\/\"><strong>applying to IRCC for Canada PR<\/strong><\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Finally,\u00a0when IRCC approve your <strong>Canada PR application<\/strong> you will get a <strong>Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR)<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Who can not apply to this stream?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">One can not apply to this program if they meet the terms such as:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Have an active nomination that is yet to expire and\/or can get an extension for other AAIP streams.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Besides, an applicant can have only 1 AAIP nomination.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Earlier you have a letter for a past AAIP program that bars you from reapplying for a specific period.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">So, if you apply under the Rural Entrepreneur Stream then your application will be denied.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">IRCC or CBSA has issued a removal order against you.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Are a refugee or a person who is under a federal appeal or in a removal process.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">AAIP can not interfere in the work of refugee appeal, claim, or removal process.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Besides, do not have valid temporary resident status. And are still living or working in Canada.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0Your business\u00a0comes under the list of ineligible businesses.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Which businesses qualify under this stream?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The following businesses qualify:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The business aims to make a profit via active running or received income. Also, the nature of business should be the sale of goods\/services.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The business must meet and follow all applicable federal, provincial, legal, municipal,\u00a0regulatory, or licensing needs for running the business.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Also, the business must have apt trade certification. If the business is in a compulsory\u00a0trade.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The business must be physically present in a rural community of Canada all the time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In the case of a franchise, the applicant must show proof of support from the master franchisor.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Must have 51% ownership if it is a new business. Whereas for business that has been taken over the applicant must have 100% ownership of the same.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The applicant must run the business from its community in Alberta. And must be actively running the day-to-day operations of the business.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Which businesses do not qualify under this stream?<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The following businesses do not qualify under the AAIP Rural Entrepreneur Stream:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Any business that breaks the terms of the <strong>Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA)<\/strong> and Regulations.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Also, this can include but is not limited to investment schemes for immigration or any time of passive investment.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Any business that does not add economic value such as:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A\u00a0payday loan, cheque cashing, and other businesses.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Business trading\u00a0about used goods.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A Business that involves passive income or lack of active management such as:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Leasing activities, renting properties, and investment.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Brokerage \u2013 real estate\/insurance\/business.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Businesses use coins for operations such as laundromats and car wash operations.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Seasonal or project-based operations.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Home-based businesses such as:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Businesses that have not been zoned for commercial or industrial purposes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Lounging houses and bed and breakfast.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Businesses that come under as a part of a succession plan and:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The applicant\u2019s relative either owns or runs the business.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">A current or former AAIP Rural Entrepreneur stream applicant\/nominee owned the business within the past 4 years.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Within the past 3 years, before the Rural Entrepreneur Stream Business Application, the ownership has been changed.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Businesses that offer explicit products and or services.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Any other business that may harm the reputation of AAIP and the government of Alberta.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AAIP\u00a0Rural Entrepreneur Stream The Rural Entrepreneur Stream is 1 of the sub-streams of AAIP&#8230;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"inline_featured_image":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-8806","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry","entry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v25.7.1 (Yoast SEO v27.0) -
