Also, it is all set to replace the current <a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20230129170248\/https:\/\/gvimmigration.com\/manitoba-provincial-nominee-program-for-business-mpnp-b\/\"><em>PNP-B business immigration stream<\/em><\/a>. Besides, the new stream\u00a0helps in\u00a0getting business investors and entrepreneurs who want to start\/buy a business in Manitoba.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><br class=\"none\" \/>You can apply through the following sub-streams of the\u00a0Business Investor Stream:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Entrepreneur Pathway<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 This option is for applicants who want to open a business in Manitoba.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Farm Investor Pathway<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 This is for applicants who want to set and run a farm in rural Manitoba.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/>Entrepreneur Pathway<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To apply, meet the following terms:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Firstly, you\u00a0must be\u00a0a qualified entrepreneur\u00a0who wants\u00a0to live and settle in Manitoba.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Secondly, set, buy, or become partners in an existing business in Manitoba.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Also, you\u00a0must do this within 24 months of landing in Canada with a temporary work permit.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/><br class=\"none\" \/>What are the factors you must meet to apply\u00a0to Business Investor Stream \u2013 Entrepreneur Pathway stream?<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Following are the factors you must meet to qualify:<\/span><\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/>Business Experience<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Have a minimum of 3 years of business experience within 5 years. This experience has to be as a business owner or in a senior management profile.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Must have at least 33.3% of equity shares in the business.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/>Language Skills<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To qualify for the MPNP Business Investor Stream stream you must have a minimum of CLB\/NCLC 5 language skill level.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/>Study Level<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You must have a minimum of a Canadian high school certificate from a Manitoba approved institute\/university.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/>Age<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To apply to this stream, you must fall in the age group of 25 to 49 years of age.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/>Business Investment terms<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If your business is in the\u00a0<strong>Manitoba Capital Region,<\/strong>\u00a0you must have a minimum investment of $250,000.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">If your business is outside the\u00a0<strong>Manitoba Capital Region<\/strong>, you must have a minimum investment of $150,000.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Invest in an eligible business as set by MPNP.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Your business must create\/maintain a minimum of 1 job for a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident in Manitoba.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/><br class=\"none\" \/>Make a business research visit<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Apply to MPNP\u00a0Business Investor Stream\u00a0with a business plan.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Conduct a business research visit to explore business and investment options, and<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Show proof of your visit to Manitoba. This can include flight tickets, hotel receipts, minutes of meetings, emails with prospective business owners\/clients etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/>Adaptability<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Your spouse must have a CLB\/NCLC 5 or higher language skill level.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You or your spouse have CLB\/NCLC 5 or higher in the Second Official Language.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You, your spouse, or common-law partner has a close relative in Manitoba. This relative must be living in Manitoba for more than 1 year.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Also, have a child who is studying in a Manitoba approved educational institute. He\/she\/it should be in a full-time study program for a minimum of 6 months before submitting an EOI; and\/or<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You or your spouse or common-law partner have completed a minimum of a 1-year full-time study program in Manitoba. You, your spouse, or common-law partner must have completed studies after 17 years of age.\u00a0Also, you must have a valid study permit at the time of completing your studies, Or<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">You, your spouse, or common-law partner have completed a minimum of 6 months of employment in Manitoba. This job must be regular, full-time, and paid.\u00a0Also, to prove this you must submit an employer reference letter. Further, MPNP will need a copy of your valid work permit.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/>Net Worth<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To fulfil this criterion, you must have a minimum net worth of $500,000. Also, this net worth will be assessed by third party suppliers which are approved by MPNP.\u00a0Besides you need to submit this net worth verification report within 120 days of receiving a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA).<\/span><\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/>Business Performance Agreement<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">After you get approval from MPNP you must sign a BPA. Also, you have to do this before, MPNP issues a\u00a0<strong>letter of support. <\/strong>Because<strong>\u00a0t<\/strong>his letter will help in applying for a work permit.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/>Farm Investor Pathway<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The Farm Investor Pathway is a renewed stream that replaces the previous Farm Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
