Critical Worker Stream<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

If you are currently working in PEI, then you can apply for nomination for a Canada PR through the Critical Worker Stream of PEI PNP. This stream is employer-driven. And helps the island fill low-skilled job positions.<\/span><\/p>\n


Who can apply?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

To apply, meet the Critical Worker Stream terms such as:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Firstly, have a full-time, long-term (permanent or minimum of 2-years) job offer from a PEI employer in NOC Skill Level C or D;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Secondly, have a minimum of 6 months of full-time work experience for the PEI employer;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Also, must have a valid work permit and legal status in Canada.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Besides, attend an interview with a staff member from the immigration office (if required);<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Have a minimum secondary school education;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Fall between the age group of 18 and 59;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Minimum 2 years of full-time work experience or relevant education in the past 5 years;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Give\u00a0proof of language skills \u2013 Minimum CLB\/NCLC 4 level;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Further, give proof of settlement funds;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Finally, show intent to live and settle in\u00a0PEI.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n


    Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI)<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

    An EOI is not a formal application to PEI. But shows your interest in applying to the program. If you meet the above terms, then you must create an EOI profile.<\/span><\/p>\n

    To submit an EOI, meet the terms of the EOI grid. The grid is divided into 6 areas. Further, each grid gives\u00a0points as per the\u00a0data that you give. Also, the maximum points that\u00a0you can get are 100.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

    Language Skills<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

    All applicants must show proof of job-ready English. Because PEI PNP needs all applicants to be able to communicate in English to live, work, and settle in Canada. Thus, an EOI profile\u00a0gets an\u00a0extra\u00a010 points for\u00a0giving\u00a0proof of language skills in both English and French.<\/span><\/p>\n

    To do so you can submit test results for English\/French\u00a0showing skills in 4 key areas such as Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.<\/span><\/p>\n

    You can submit test results for\u00a0IELTS, CELPIP, TEF,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0TCF<\/strong>\u00a0with\u00a0the required\u00a0CLB level (English)<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0NCLC level (French).<\/strong>\u00a0Besides, these test results must not be more than 2 years old at the time of applying.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
