Skilled Workers Outside PEI<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

The Skilled Workers Outside PEI\u00a0is an employer-driven stream and selects applicants who are already employed by a PEI employer, to fill high skilled job positions. Besides, through this stream applicants can apply for a nomination to apply for a Canada\u00a0PR.<\/span><\/p>\n


Who can apply to the Skilled Workers Outside PEI stream of PEI PNP?<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

To apply to the Skilled Workers Outside PEI stream, meet the following terms:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • Firstly, have a full-time, long-term (permanent or minimum of 2-years) job offer from a PEI employer in NOC Skill Level 0, A, or B;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Secondly, have a minimum of 2 years of full-time work experience within 5 years;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Also, must have a valid work permit;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Have legal status in the country of residence.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • If needed attend an interview;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Have a minimum 2-year post-secondary diploma or degree;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Fall between the age group of 18 and 59;<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Besides, provide proof of language skills<\/span>\n
      \n
    • Give test results of IELTS\/TEF\/NCLC\/TCF with minimum CLB\/NCLC 4 level; or<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Submit PEI PNP-L06 Employer Language Declaration signed by the employer; or<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Also, give documents from an internationally recognised agency. So it can prove that the principal language studied by you was English or French.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
    • Further, give proof of settlement funds;<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Finally, show a genuine intent to live and settle in PEI.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n


      Submit an Expression of Interest (EOI)<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

      An EOI is not a formal application to PEI. But shows your interest in applying to the program. If you meet the above terms, then create an EOI profile.<\/span><\/p>\n

      To submit an EOI, meet the terms of the EOI grid. The grid is divided into 6 areas. Each grid gives\u00a0points as per the\u00a0data that you give. Also, the max points that\u00a0you can get are 100.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

      Language Skills<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n

      All applicants must show proof of job-ready English. Because PEI PNP needs all applicants to be able to communicate in English to live, work, and settle in Canada. An EOI profile\u00a0gets an\u00a0extra\u00a010 points for\u00a0giving\u00a0proof of language skills in both English and French.<\/span><\/p>\n

      To do so you can\u00a0give test results for English\/French showing\u00a0skills in 4 key areas such as Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.<\/span><\/p>\n

      So, you can\u00a0give test results for\u00a0IELTS, CELPIP, TEF,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0TCF<\/strong>\u00a0with\u00a0the required\u00a0CLB level (English)<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0NCLC level (French).<\/strong>\u00a0Besides, these test results must not be more than 2 years old at the time of applying.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
