This draw invited applicants with a provincial nomination, which means their EE profile received an extra 600 points.\u00a0And they were able to match the qualifying <\/span><b>Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> score of 808, in the latest draw. These applicants received an <\/span><b>Invitation to Apply (ITA)<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> for permanent residence in Canada.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\"><b>Who qualifies in the latest draw?<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">To qualify in the latest draw:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">You must have an active EE profile in the federal <\/span><b>Express Entry (EE) system<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">;<\/span><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Your profile will then be sent to an EE applicant and will be assessed on <\/span><b>Human Capital Factors<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> such as age, language skills education level, and work experience.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">After assessment EE profile will receive a CRS score. As per their high score, they will receive an ITA in regular EE draws to apply for nomination.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">If they receive a provincial nomination then they will get extra 600 CRS points against their EE profile.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">A provincial nomination is needed in this draw to be able to match or exceed the qualifying CRS score of 808.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">If you qualify, then you can apply IRCC for a Canada PR.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\"><b>Note<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\"><b>The tie-breaker rule used by IRCC selected March 18, 2020, at 10:30:55 UTC. This means applicants who have an 808 CRS score or more and submitted their profile before the mentioned time and date, would have received an ITA for Canadian permanent residence.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\"><b>The Express Entry System<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">The Express Entry (EE) system is Canada\u2019s one of the most immigration system. It is a system that manages profile from 3 streams such as:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">Canadian Experience Class (CEC)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">Recently, Canada has been targeting provincial nominees and CEC applicants in its EE draws. As seen from the last two draws on April 09, 2020, out of which one was a provincial nominee program-specific draw.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">Besides, Provincial Nomine Program (PNP) is an immigration program that helps provinces meet their labour market and economic needs. Except for Nunavut and Quebec, most Canadian provinces and territories have their PNP\u2019s linked with the EE system.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;color: #000000\">Since the start of 2020, PNP streams have already held 30 draws, whereas the April 15, draw brings the total number ITA\u2019s issued up till now to 26,618.
