The draw selected 250 applicants with a minimum CRS score of 415.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">In <strong>159th Express Entry (EE) draw<\/strong> on Aug 06, 2020, <strong>Canada selected 250 applicants<\/strong> from its <strong>Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)<\/strong> stream. This is the first time that such a selection has happened in 2020. Also, to qualify the applicants needed a <strong>minimum CRS score of 415<\/strong>. The <em>tie-breaker rule applied to this draw was\u00a0\u00a0June 2, 2020, at 09:35:31 UTC<\/em>. This means that applicants with a CRS score of 415 and applicants with CRS score of more than 415, who\u00a0applied before this time and date received an <strong>Invitation to Apply (ITA) for a Canada PR<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #99cc00;\"><strong><br class=\"none\" \/>Federal Skilled Trades applicants targeted in latest Express Entry draw<\/strong><\/span> are now eligible to <strong>apply for permanent residence in Canada<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">If you too received an ITA on <strong>Aug 06, 2020, FSTP Express Entry draw<\/strong> then it means you:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Have an active EE profile.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Have applied under the FSTP stream.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Meet the <strong>Human Capital Factors<\/strong> such as:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Age<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Language Skills<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Education Level<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Work Experience<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">Finally have a CRS score of 417 or more.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\">If an applicant receives nomination against its EE profile, then they get an extra 600 CRS score. This increases their chances of receiving an <strong>ITA to apply for a Canadian permanent residence<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; color: #000000;\"><br class=\"none\" \/>The current draw is one of its kind this year. Because the last draw on <strong><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.canada.ca\/en\/immigration-refugees-citizenship\/corporate\/mandate\/policies-operational-instructions-agreements\/ministerial-instructions.html#invitations\">Oct 16, 2019, selected 500 applicants with a CRS score of 357 or more<\/a>.<\/strong> In comparison, the current draw selected a less number of people and the CRS score increased by 60 points. But this is a one-off case. Looking at past EE draws, whether last\u00a0<strong>Aug 05, 2020, all program EE draw<\/strong> or last <a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/gvimmigration.com\/157th-express-entry-draw-issues-3343-itas\/\"><strong>Jul 23, 2020, CEC targeted EE draw<\/strong><\/a>, the overall immigration trends\u00a0seem
