New amendments have been made to the\u00a0<strong>Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #000000; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><em>The new amendments add another layer of strong protection for such TFWs against any discrimination and abuse.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><br class=\"none\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Besides, as per the new update these amendments will make:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Firstly, make Canadian employers share complete data on the rights of TFWs in Canada.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Secondly, ban Canadian employers from issuing any threats to fire\u00a0and\u00a0or fire TFWs in cases of abuse etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Also, ban Canadian employers from charging recruitment fees. And punishing such people for their actions against the TFWs.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Besides, all Canadian employers will have to provide necessary healthcare services. Employers hiring under the <span style=\"color: #99cc00;\"><a style=\"color: #99cc00;\" href=\"https:\/\/gvimmigration.com\/temporary-foreign-worker-program\/\"><strong>Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP)<\/strong><\/a><\/span> will have to offer private healthcare as and when applicable.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><br class=\"none\" \/><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Thus, with the new measures, temporary workers in Canada have much stronger protection than before. This will make sure that TFWs are not taken advantage of owing to their vulnerable situation in Canada. Also, it will make sure all Canadian employers getting foreign workers\u00a0will follow the new guidelines. Because if they not they will\u00a0face strict action against them. The ESDC has made it clear that they will cancel LMIAs immediately where they doubt the employer will not follow the new rules.
