Known for achieving results, for collaborating with partners, and for his integrity, Mr. Wex has successfully assumed increasing levels of executive responsibility across a broad range of portfolios over his twenty-five year career.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMr. Wex brings a strong legal, policy operational and management skill set to the position of Chair of the IRB. His background as a senior lawyer with the Department of Justice, combined with his experience at senior levels in both immigration and border services over the past decade provide him with a breadth of knowledge and relevant government experience necessary for addressing the issues at hand, and for the effective management of the IRB.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ottawa,
