Even If their <strong>work permit<\/strong> was approved after the govt issued a travel ban. The recent travel ban was imposed to contain the spread of COVID-19 or coronavirus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">In the earlier ban, Canada was not allowing people to enter the country. Even if their work permit was approved after <strong>March 18, 2020.<\/strong> Now applicants with a work permit, including outside the U.S have permission to enter Canada. But they can only do so if they show no symptoms of coronavirus. In addition, travellers can enter from the land if they have no symptoms and promise to self-isolate after entering.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><strong>14-day isolation for travellers now compulsory<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">It is now mandatory for all travellers to self isolate for 14 days after reaching Canada. Because the country is taking strict steps to contain the spread of the coronavirus. Only truck drivers who supply daily goods through the U.S \u2013 Canada border are exempt from this rule.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\"><strong>Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)<\/strong> is making temporary changes to the process of LMIA.
